About this printable
Plan a short conversation that includes questions and responses.

What is on the page
The printable has eight entry rows with four labeled columns: Purpose, Opening phrase, Follow-up, Closing. Two larger writing areas are labeled Before you begin and What to carry forward. Use a short identifier in the name/project space and define the date or period covered before making entries. If you need another page, repeat that identifier and add a page number by hand so separate records can be read in order.
How to use it
Choose one everyday purpose and prepare a follow-up that responds to what the other person says.
A practical starting point
Choose a practical purpose such as arranging a meeting or asking about an item. Prepare an opening and one flexible follow-up, then leave room for an unexpected response. Practice a natural closing that fits the situation. After the exchange, revise phrases that felt awkward rather than trying to force the conversation into the plan.
