Begin with the purpose of the meeting
This meeting notes template printable separates discussion from decisions and follow-up work. Six sections cover the meeting details, purpose, notes, decisions, actions and open questions. It works for an informal project check-in, club discussion or household planning meeting where a concise record is more useful than a word-for-word transcript.

Distinguish an idea from an agreement
Use the discussion area for suggestions and context. Move an item into the decisions area only when the group has actually agreed on it. In the actions section, record what will be done, who accepted the task and any agreed due date. If ownership or timing is unresolved, keep the item under open questions rather than filling in an assumption.
Review the page before everyone leaves
Read back the decisions and actions so participants can correct misunderstandings. Afterward, store or share the notes in a way appropriate for the information discussed. The page has limited space by design; attach additional notes if necessary and use the same meeting date to connect them. This template does not establish approval rules or replace formal minutes required by an organization.
