What this printable includes
Record how a day unfolded with a time use log. Unlike a time-blocking planner, this page captures actual start and end times after an activity happens. The activity, planned-versus-actual note and observation columns help explain where a schedule estimate differed from experience.

How to use the page
Choose a short observation period and use the same time format throughout. Record breaks and interruptions without judging them as wasted time. If an activity overlaps another, note the overlap so adding durations later does not count the same minutes twice. Estimates should be marked as estimates.
Review and adapt
Review the page for one useful adjustment, such as allowing more transition time. It is a personal reflection tool, not a workplace timesheet or a reliable record for billing. Avoid including private details about other people. Start with a few entries if recording every change would itself interrupt the day.
