What this printable includes
Create twelve two-part cards for a matching game. Each original domino outline has a dividing line, leaving room for paired words, pictures, quantities or symbols. The template is blank, so the maker controls what counts as a match.
How to use the page
Plan the matching relationships before writing on the final cards. For example, one side might contain a word and another card a matching picture. Check that the intended chain can actually be formed and decide whether several matches are allowed. Add a small reference list if a learner needs help checking the relationships.
Review and adapt
Cut on the outside boundaries and keep the center dividing lines intact. These are paper matching cards, not weighted domino pieces for building or toppling. Use suitable tools and supervision, and avoid small loose pieces for children who may mouth them. Revise unclear pairs after a trial game.
