About this printable
Practice unit rate with eight focused exercises and a separate answer page. The questions are arranged in two columns with working space in each box. The article also includes the answers as readable text, so you can check a response without opening the solution image. Use the practice page first and keep the key aside until the learner has tried a method.

How to use it
A unit rate describes how much corresponds to one unit. Divide the total quantity by the number of equal units. For example, 24 labels on 6 equal sheets gives 4 labels per sheet. Write the unit with the number so the answer retains its meaning.
Check and adapt
Check by multiplying the unit rate by the number of units in the prompt. These examples assume equal groups or a constant rate as explicitly stated; they are arithmetic models rather than promises about real production speed or travel conditions.
