Borrowed Items Log Printable for Lending and Returns

Separate lending from borrowing

This borrowed items log printable gives you ten entries for possessions that temporarily change hands. Write “lent” or “borrowed” beside the item so the direction is clear. The other columns record the person, an agreed return date and the final return status. It works for books, household tools, games and similar everyday belongings.

Record items lent or borrowed, the person involved, agreed return date and return status in a ten-entry printable log.

Describe the actual item

Include enough detail to distinguish similar objects, such as a book title or the color of a storage case. If an item has several parts, note those in the first column or continue on a second line. Agree on a return date with the other person rather than treating a date you wrote alone as a commitment. A short note can record an agreed extension.

Close the loop when it comes back

Check the item and its accompanying pieces when it is returned, then write the return date in the final column. Keep the page somewhere appropriate for the names it contains, and avoid posting a completed copy publicly. This is a personal reminder sheet, not a contract or automated notification service. Review open entries occasionally and use a fresh page when the ten rows are full.
