Venn Diagram Template Printable with Two Overlapping Circles

Compare two clearly named subjects

This Venn diagram template printable has two large overlapping circles, labels for the subjects and a short conclusion area. Use the left-only space for features of the first subject, the right-only space for features of the second and the overlap for features both share. The blank template can support comparisons in reading, science or everyday observation.

Compare two subjects in overlapping circles with space for shared features and a concluding sentence.

Use the same kind of information on both sides

Choose a manageable comparison, such as two story characters or two classroom objects. Write short phrases so the circle areas remain readable. A feature belongs in the overlap only when it applies to both subjects in the context you are studying. If a statement is uncertain, check the source or observation before placing it in the diagram.

Turn the diagram into a conclusion

After filling the circles, use the bottom lines to explain one meaningful similarity or difference. The diagram is an organizer, so it does not supply a single answer key for every topic. Teachers can review whether each feature is supported and whether the shared area is used consistently. For comparisons with several criteria or longer notes, a table may provide more writing space.
