This free printable to-do list gives the day a little structure without asking you to schedule every minute. There is space for a date, one focus, three priorities, twelve tasks or reminders, and a small notes section.
Use it beside your calendar for the jobs you want to remember. A task list and an appointment calendar do different things: one collects actions, while the other shows commitments with dates or times.
Your printable to-do list template
The priority section is separate from the longer task list. That separation gives the most useful outcomes a clear place, even when several smaller errands need attention too.

Start with three specific priorities
Write actions with a recognizable finish. “Send the revised draft” is easier to check off than “work on project.” If something is too large for one day, choose its next step instead of copying the whole project into the priority section.
You do not have to fill all three spaces. One important task can be enough on a busy day with little flexible time.
Use the main list for tasks and reminders
Add errands, messages to send, small household jobs, or things you need to check. Keep each entry brief. If a task needs an address, a long set of instructions, or a reference number, put that information in a separate note and use a short reminder here.
A simple verb at the start of each entry makes the list easier to scan: call, send, check, book, read, or put away. You can add a small mark beside tasks that belong in the same place and handle those together when it makes sense.
Reset the list without carrying everything forward
At the end of the day, look at the unchecked items. Move forward only the tasks that still matter. Cross out a reminder that is no longer useful, break down an item that was too broad, and give tomorrow’s page a fresh focus.
The notes section can hold a thought to revisit, something to ask another person, or a reminder for your next weekly planning session.
