Cube Net Printable: Blank and Numbered Versions

This cube net printable includes a blank cross-shaped net and a numbered version. Both have six square faces, dashed fold guides, and shaded glue tabs. Four squares run in a vertical strip, with one square on each side of the second square.

Plan the faces while the sheet is flat

Use the blank version for colors, drawings, letters, or your own activity prompts. Decide which way each design should face before assembling it. A quick paper test can reveal whether a word needs to be turned to appear upright on the finished cube.

Read cut lines and fold guides separately

Cut along the solid outer boundary, keeping the shaded tabs attached. Fold the shared edges between faces and the bases of the tabs along their dashed guides. Do not cut the shared face edges, since those connections hold the net together.

Fold before applying adhesive

Bring the faces toward their cube positions and check how the remaining edges meet. Put the tabs inside the cube and use a suitable paper adhesive sparingly. Work around the seams, leaving an accessible seam until the end. Allow the adhesive to hold before using the cube in an activity.

Use the numbered option as an activity cube

The second template has numbers one through six on its faces. It is a numbered paper activity cube; the number placement is not advertised as a standard die with a particular opposite-face arrangement, and the handmade object is not a calibrated randomizer.

Choose a printer-supported paper weight and make one test copy first. Keep the same scaling for the whole page so the faces remain square and match each other. This is a small paper model rather than a storage box designed to carry weight.
