Weekly Chore Chart Printable with Assigned Names

This weekly chore chart printable gives shared household tasks a clear place on the page. It has eight chore rows, a space for the assigned person, and a completion checkbox for each day from Monday through Sunday.

Your weekly chore chart

Write the week’s starting date and household or group name at the top. The notes lines beneath the grid can hold an exception, a supply reminder, or a task to revisit next week.

Agree on the tasks before filling the grid

Choose tasks that fit the people and setup involved. Write a clear action such as “empty the small recycling bin” instead of a broad label such as “clean everything.” Use the assigned-person column to make responsibility visible.

Not every chore needs to happen every day. Cross out the boxes for days when a task is not planned, leaving the relevant boxes available for completion marks.

Use a consistent completion mark

  1. Read the row to see the task and assigned name.
  2. Check which day’s box applies.
  3. Mark the box after the agreed task is completed.
  4. Use the notes area if something prevented the task from being done.

For rotating responsibilities, start a fresh page each week or write a clear rotation note beside the name. A single stable assignment is usually easier to follow than several crossed-out names in one small cell.

Review the workload together

At the end of the week, discuss whether the tasks were clear and the assignments practical. Move unfinished tasks intentionally rather than copying them automatically. The chart is a coordination sheet; it does not include rewards, penalties, or a built-in scoring system.

Print another copy when the plan changes enough that the old page becomes hard to read.

Download and print

Choose Download image beneath a printable to save its original PNG. If you prefer a PDF, select US Letter or A4 and let the website create a one-page file. Check the selected paper size and print preview before making several copies. These are flat printable images rather than fillable forms.
