Printable Mazes: Three Grids with Matching Solutions

These printable mazes offer three square-grid puzzles, each with its own solution page. Start at the opening on the upper left and find the exit on the lower right without crossing a wall.

The three grids contain 8, 12, and 18 cells along each side. A larger grid has more cells to explore, but the sizes are puzzle options rather than a formal age or ability rating.

8 × 8 maze

Use a pencil to trace a route through the open corridors. If a route stops at a wall or dead end, return to an earlier junction and try another opening.

Try a plan before tracing

Look at the entrance, exit, and nearby corridors before putting pencil to paper. A learner can trace with a finger first or mark small dots at a few junctions. There is no time limit printed on these pages.

Compare a finished path with the solution by checking the turns as well as the endpoint. A line that crosses a wall has changed the puzzle, even if it reaches the exit.
