What this practice page covers
This two digit addition regrouping worksheet includes an original practice page and a separate answer page. Every problem on this page requires regrouping in the ones place. Learners can use a separate working area to show vertical calculations or drawings of tens and ones.

Work through an example
For 27 + 38, seven ones plus eight ones make fifteen ones. Regroup as one ten and five ones; the total is 65. Read the instruction before starting, and use a spare sheet for intermediate working if the answer space is not enough.
Review the method as well as the answer
Encourage a reasonableness check before looking at the key. If a result is smaller than both positive addends, revisit the calculation. The answer page gives totals rather than prescribing one method. Try the exercise page before opening the key. When an answer differs, compare the steps and correct the specific misunderstanding rather than copying every result. The page is focused practice, not a complete assessment of the wider topic.
