Printable Division Facts Chart for Divisors 1–12

This printable division facts chart organizes exact division facts into twelve panels. Each panel keeps one divisor constant and lists quotients from 1 through 12. It is a reference page for practicing division facts and checking how division connects with multiplication.

The chart contains whole-number answers only. It does not introduce remainders, fractions, or decimal quotients.

Your division chart

Choose the panel for the divisor in your calculation. In the “Divide by 7” panel, for example, find 56 ÷ 7 = 8. The number being divided changes from line to line, while the divisor stays at 7.

Understand the three parts of a fact

  • Dividend: the number being divided. In 56 ÷ 7 = 8, the dividend is 56.
  • Divisor: the number you divide by. Here, the divisor is 7.
  • Quotient: the result. Here, the quotient is 8.

Use the headings to keep track of the divisor rather than scanning for a familiar answer alone. That makes the chart more useful when two facts contain some of the same numbers.

Check division with multiplication

Multiply the quotient by the divisor to check an exact division fact. For 56 ÷ 7 = 8, calculate 8 × 7. The result is 56, matching the dividend. A matching multiplication chart can help learners see both operations using the same fact family.

Try writing a small family of related facts: 7 × 8 = 56, 8 × 7 = 56, 56 ÷ 7 = 8, and 56 ÷ 8 = 7. Discuss which number changes position in each sentence.

Practice with a small section

Pick one divisor and read three or four facts together. Cover the quotients with a narrow strip of paper and work out the answers. Then uncover the chart to check. Move to another section when the learner is ready rather than treating the whole page as a timed test.

You can also give a dividend and ask the learner to find a matching fact in a particular panel. For example, “Find 36 in the divide-by-4 panel” leads to 36 ÷ 4 = 9.
