About this printable
Practice decimal to percent conversion with eight focused questions and a separate printable answer key. Each exercise has space for a written method, and the answers also appear as readable text below. Use the practice page first, then compare methods as well as final answers. The paired images stay together in this article so the solution can be found without searching for another post.

How to use it
A percentage expresses a quantity per hundred. Multiply a decimal by 100 and attach the percent sign. For example, 0.35 equals 35%, while 1.2 equals 120%. The change in notation does not change the represented quantity.
Check and adapt
Divide the percentage number by 100 to recover the decimal. Include the percent sign so a reader can distinguish 25 from 25%. This page practices representation only and does not involve prices, interest or other financial applications.
