About this printable
Practice dividing fractions with eight focused questions and a separate printable answer key. Each exercise has space for a written method, and the answers also appear as readable text below. Use the practice page first, then compare methods as well as final answers. The paired images stay together in this article so the solution can be found without searching for another post.

How to use it
Divide by a nonzero fraction by multiplying by its reciprocal. For example, 3/4 divided by 1/2 equals 3/4 times 2/1, or 3/2. Interpret the calculation as asking how many groups of the divisor fit into the dividend.
Check and adapt
Multiply the quotient by the original divisor to recover the dividend. Reverse only the divisor, not both fractions. Every divisor on this page is nonzero, and equivalent improper fractions or mixed numbers are acceptable when they represent the exact result.
